Waffle Quest

Wymane adjusted his watch, grinning at his reflection in the polished surface of the waffle iron. “Alright, Bix. Time for the greatest culinary adventure ever. Let’s make the best waffles in history.”

Bix, his floating, ball-shaped companion bot, hovered nearby. “This mission lacks any strategic purpose.”

“Strategic? Bix, waffles are the essence of life’s simple joys. Now, fire up those time coordinates.”

Moments later, they landed in a 17th-century Belgian bakery. Flour dusted the air as a chef muttered, “The secret is the pearl sugar.” Wymane scribbled notes while sneakily pocketing a sample.

Their next stop was 1920s America, where waffle cones dominated the scene. Wymane, eager to learn, ended up stuck to the counter when syrup-coated batter went awry. “I think we’ve seen enough here,” Bix said, unimpressed.

Finally, they arrived at a 21st-century diner. A kind chef explained, “It’s all about balance—crispy edges, fluffy centers, and a touch of vanilla.”

Back home, Wymane poured batter into his iron with newfound expertise. As the first waffle emerged, golden and steaming, Bix scanned it. “Structural integrity: optimal. Smell: enticing. Taste test required.”

Wymane bit into the waffle and sighed. “Bix, this… this is history on a plate.”

“Mission accomplished,” Bix replied, with what might’ve been a hint of pride in its tone.
