The radio crackled with static as Captain Mara tuned it desperately, her fingers trembling. The once-bustling city lay in ruins outside, skyscrapers reduced to jagged shadows. Finally, a voice emerged—a fellow Time Warrior.

“This is Nyx. I’ve secured the shard, but the Watch is acting… strange. Time is fracturing around me. If anyone hears this, keep moving. The Nexus is still active in—”

Static drowned out the rest. Mara leaned back, staring at the broken skyline. Nyx’s voice was already too far gone, just like most of the team. But somewhere in the crackling static, a faint whisper lingered: “The Nexus will guide you…”.
